Restaurants, bars, and hotels have created about 1,500 jobs over the past year. This is due to a regional population growth and higher wages, leaving people with disposable income to eat out more often.
In the past 12 months, manufacturers have created about 600 jobs in Spokane County, education has added 600 jobs, and transportation and warehousing added 400 jobs.
With jobs growing it’s important to be qualified for the positions employers are looking for. If you’re looking for a job in healthcare, getting your CNA training is a good place to start.
